The following cases have been dealt with at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court.
Reece Greatrex, 24, of Railway Terrace, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud, intending to make a gain of a total of £3,282 of cash, committed in South Tyneside, between dates in November and December 2014. He was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, with 200 hours of unpaid work, and was told to pay £2,132 in compensation.
Dale Richardson, 48, of Redmond Road, Redhouse, Sunderland, was found guilty, after a trial, of assaulting a man, on February 28. He was given a 12-month community order with up to 20 days of specified activity. He was also fined £50, with a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and costs of £200.
David Harrison, 23, of Goschen Street, Southwick, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to damaging is glass panel in a patio door and wall, to the value of £80, on March 7. He was told pay compensation of £80.
Gage Davies, 24, and Ross Davies, 22, both of Bamburgh Close, Oxclose, Washington, pleaded guilty to stealing three internal doors, belonging to Gentoo, between January 31, 2015, and January 4, 2016. They were each fined £80 and were told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20 and costs of £50.
David De Costa, 28, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to damaging a cell door at Southwick Police Station, to the value of £80, on April 29, and being drunk and disorderly at The Galleries, Washington, on the same day. He was fined £80 and was told to pay compensation of £85, a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and costs of £85.
Robert McCrorie, 54, of Urban Gardens, Concord, Washington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly outside Urban Gardens, on March 12. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and was told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £15 and prosecution costs of £85.
