Drivers faced delays after a car was involved in a crash with a bus on a busy Sunderland bridge.
The collision took place on the Queen Alexandra Bridge shortly after 2.30pm.
No injuries were reported.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “At about 2.43pm this afternoon, police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision near the Queen Alexandra Bridge, in Sunderland.
“Officers attended the scene.
"Nobody was injured and the road is now clear.”
North East Live Traffic posted on Twitter: "Two vehicle RTC on the A1231 westbound on the northern side of the QA Bridge Sunderland involving a car and a bus."
