THE LITTLE WASTER – A TRIBUTE TO BOBBY THOMPSON

Relive the wit and humour of The Little Waster in this amazing tribute performed by the multi talented Tony Washington.

This really is comedy at its very best! Bobby Thompson (1911-1988) was a stand-up comedian from Penshaw and was renowned for his selfdeprecating humour – plus his mother-in-law jokes – all told in his pitmatic accent!

Tony Washington is about as close to the real Bobby you can get! Tickets are £10 per person and include a supper and are available from members of the Next 900 Committee – see Church website for full details. A licensed bar will be available at the event. VENUE: Houghton Parish Church, The Broadway, DH4 4DN

ENTRY: £10.00 DATE: FRI OCT 12TH 2018 TIME: 19:30
