Zombies dress up as Sunderland players for Halloween: More Twitter reaction to club's plight
Sunderland fans have been having their say on social media about the club's current plight.
The Black Cats are second-bottom of the Championship after Saturday's dismal 2-1 defeat at home to Bristol City.
Ahead of a crunch week for Simon Grayson, with games at home to bottom side Bolton tomorrow and a derby clash at Middlesbrough on Sunday, supporters have been venting their spleen on Twitter. Here's a selection of their comments:
@blandy_son: Zombies dress up as #SAFC players for halloween
@half_biscuit: Am going to dress up as a clean sheet tomorrow night at the SOL and see the team guess what I am #SAFC
@pauloleary0988: Looking at the table and what's worrying is that we'll need to win around 50% of our remaining games to stay up. We have one win in 14 #safc
@mdotmac: If they're not already been used #safc need to get a team of sports psychologists in to work with the players.
@LouisBooth92: Time to bring back Reidy #Safc
@DanielJenks89: #SAFC Wonder if anyone will come to the game on Tuesday dressed as Ellis Short or Martin Bain for Halloween
@TheRealGarrigle: Tomorrow is absolutely massive, we have to win, we lose tomorrow then get beat of boro.... hello league 1 #safc #GraysonOut #shortOut
@cysportspress: Reported on Leeds, Forest, Saints in L1 when those clubs had to start over. Sunderland heading same way. Could be a decade to change this
