Youths go on smashing spree in Peterlee
Youths smashed 19 windows of an East Durham building.
Peterlee Police said tonight the 19 panes of glass were all shattered at Lee House in the town.
A spokesman said: "A foot chase ensued, three youth suspects apprehended and are spending the evening in the cells."
They said this behaviour will not be tolerated.
