Whose fault is NHS strain?

The medical profession is highly praised for its expertise in prolonging our lives.

However, on the other hand, old people are strongly blamed for putting pressure on the NHS.

We know that immigration and the further million people who will get here are in no way responsible for the dreadful pressure on the NHS.

Just a minute, the young and middle-aged complaining about our prolonged lives will one day become old themselves, won’t they?

Surely they will then blame the immigrants to this country enjoying all the freebies for the fact that they have a long wait to see the GP? Also it seems that many doctors retire or emigrate as soon as possible to avoid the strain of overwork. You’ll be lucky to find a doctor over 30.

To think that I thought I was logical and now find that logic does not exist. It was just a dream!
