The pantomime season is almost upon us. Personally, I can think of anything worse.
I can recall many years ago going to The Empire to watch Robinson Crusoe. I was four or five and even at that age I found the whole thing rather childish. Repeated phrases like “He’s over there” and two men dressed up as a horse did nothing for me.
The shows are past their sell by date. I was so glad when it was over and I could return to read my Look and Learn annual. This is what children should be doing, reading instead of watching this childish nonsense.
