Rules seem to be unfair

Have your say

I read with interest the story about people getting tickets on Sundays for parking in the area around Darkes Cycles.

Michael Mordey, from Sunderland Council, said that double yellow lines indicate a prohibition of waiting at any time even if there are no upright signs.

I was just wondering, blue badge holders are allowed to park pretty much anywhere on any day.

If yellow lines have been put down it’s for a reason, so why is it one law for blue badge holders and one for everyone else?
