Help those in real need

Have your say

It was stated in the Echo (June 30) regarding boiling coffee being thrown in a lady’s face that a man seeking refugee status was having his application considered. Why?

He got away with a suspended sentence for an act of terrifying violence.

As well as not being able to work he is given money, not a lot I grant you, but is he the type of person we need?

I firmly believe we should give asylum to those in jeopardy but they should be law abiding and not an economic migrant. This does not help those whose life is endangered.
