Hedges have been hacked

Have your say

In Albany Lane and Brandy Lane we have had the ‘hackers’ pay us a visit.

Not the computer kind, but hedge hackers. Down to the village centre the tall hedges have been decimated, hacked to half their size.

We can only hope they will recover.

What will not recover

are the verges. The long hedge opposite Moorside needs clearing out to give the hedge a chance and to stop the gunge flying around the streets.

The grass verges alongside Fell Close and Moorside are ruined by cars and vans parking on them.

I suggest fines to offset the damage and no parking signs.Does anyone care about preserving our hedges and verges.
