Why hasn’t Bridget Phillipson used her Echo column to address her constituents, whom she ignored by voting for air strikes in Syria?
She conveniently side stepped the issue in last week’s column, preferring to backslap herself for George Osborne’s budget U-turns.
Come on, Bridget, explain your decision.
Every single person I talked to in your constituency did not want these futile air strikes, including me.
Are you not paid handsomely for representing these people at Parliament?
I have a feeling this vote had more to do with in party fighting than what you feel was the right thing to do.
It seems to me that you are just another career politician, desperate to climb the Parliamentary ladder.
Please, do not bottle from explaining your vote for air strikes in your next column.
