A TEAM of workers are preparing to put their best foot forward for an extra-special challenge.

An eight-strong team from Dalton Park is preparing to take part in the Three Peaks Challenge next month, which will take in England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike.

The walkers will raise cash for The Sick Children’s Trust, which provides free, high-quality home -from-home accommodation at major hospitals across the country for families whose children are seriously ill.

Jerry Hatch, centre manager Dalton Park, said: “The Sick Children’s Trust and Crawford House do a tremendous job in supporting parents of sick children in our region and beyond.

“I am sure Team Dalton Park will do their utmost to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy local cause.”

The members of Team Dalton Park come from all areas of the outlet, including security, cleaning, retail and management, and all are in serious training for the challenge, on September 8.

Anyone interested in supporting Team Dalton Park can donate by visiting the help desk at the shopping centre or online via the outlet’s Just Giving page by visiting
