Wonderful Woodbridge keeps up the pressure

Glen Woodbridge secured two vital victories to maintain the pressure at the top of the Golden Fleece Darts Premier Division.

Woodbridge fought back from 3-1 down to beat Davy Marley 5-3 and then he went on to easily defeated Richie Thoms 5-0.

Davy Mason beat Tom Davies 5-1 with both players’ best leg a 20-darter.

Alan Stoves beat Kev Long 5-2, while Steve Peel saw off Norman Place to claim a 5-0 win.

Pete Wilson edged out Richie Thoms 5-3, with a best leg of 19 darts.

John Doran drew his first game against Davy Mason, but then went on to beat Don Green 5-0.

Dan Scott came from 4-2 down to earn a draw against Marco Laybourn, while Gary Richardson drew with his dad Steve Richardson.

Another game to end in a draw was Jordan Thoms against Denny Cullen.

Adam Lafferty defeated Davy Marley 5-2 and Charlie Thompson beat Andy Clark 5-1.

Marco Laybourn beat Steve Carr 5-3, while Gary Richardson drew his second game of the night against Alan Stoves. Richardson’s best leg came in 18 darts, including a great finish of 111.
