Witness to fall sought

In February we 'came home' from a holiday, which turned out to be a nightmare.

On February 17 we called at the Scullery in Silksworth for lunch, it was cold and it had been raining all day and because of the camber on the drive the excess water was flowing between the outdoor step and the aggregate drive.

My husband slipped off the step and on to the drive.

I would like to thank the kindness of Jane, a lady dressed in a pale blue uniform and the staff from the car wash who helped my husband.

My husband suffered a fractured pelvis and developed pneumonia and was in hospital and rehab for over two months.

He lost a third of his weight, he was extremely ill and I thought I was going to lose him. My husband needs help and it will be a further six months before the fracture heals.

I would be grateful if anyone who witnessed the accident can help and confirm the drive was newly resurfaced towards the end of February, especially the gentleman who followed my husband out and confirmed it was slippy when he fell.

I would be grateful for any help, please call me on 01777 708717
