Witness appeal after man attacked by group in Sunderland
An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a group of males attacked a man in Sunderland.
The 52-year-old was assaulted in Wilkinson Terrace at about 8pm on Thursday, February 23, according to police.
The man suffered minor injuries in the incident.
A Northumbria Police spokesman added: "Officers are carrying out inquiries and are appealing for witnesses.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 945 230217 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
