A musical tribute is set to Shine On Seaham.
The members of Pink Floyd tribute band Shine On are set to play at Seaham Town Hall, in Stockton Road, on Saturday, June 13.
The show will feature music from the band’s back catalogue, including a celebration of famous album Dark Side of the Moon, as well as excerpts from The Wall, Division Bell, Wish You Were Here and Momentary Lapse of Reason.
Formed in 1965, Pink Floyd enjoyed worldwide acclaim for their progressive and psychedelic rock.
Prominent band members included Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and David Gilmour.
The band have sold more than 250 million records worldwide.
Shine On band member Fletcher Christian said: “We are very excited to be playing in this new venue and we hope to introduce some new people to the sound of Pink Floyd.
“We are also recording the show for possible release.”
Tickets for the 8pm gig cost £12. Doors open at 7pm.
