WIN: Tickets to see Johnny Cash Roadshow, Sunderland Empire

We’ve teamed up with the theatre to give away a pair of tickets to the Carter/Cash estate-endorsed show.

A cast of singers and musicians bring to life Johnny Cash’s cherished numbers which include Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues and A Thing Called Love.

Taking on the starring role is Clive John, who channels the star’s deep, distinctive vocals and country twang.

He duets will Jill Schoonjan as June Carter, with renditions of Don’t You Think It’s Come Our Time and Jackson.

Joining them on stage is Martin Bentley on bass, Nick Davis on guitars and Darren Bazzoni on drums, with backing vocals by Louise Masters and Amanda Stone who add sparkle and glamour as the Carter sisters.

Johnny, who passed away in 2003, left a great legacy of music.

One of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, the iconic singer sold more than 90 million records worldwide.
