AFTER the success of the inaugural Hilarity Bites at Port of Call, the comedy night is back with a rib-tickling bill.
Next Friday night will see Roger Monkhouse, Danny O’Brien and MC Mike Milligan take to the stage at the Park Lane venue.
Roger headlines at all the major comedy venues and has performed extensively throughout the UK and internationally.
A topical writer and performer, and master of sharp observational comedy, Roger is a regular member of the prestigious and critically acclaimed Cutting Edge team at the London Comedy Store.
His forte is delivering intelligent, thought provoking material that pulls no punches.
Danny has been performing stand-up comedy for more than six years, performing regularly at top comedy clubs and festivals in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US.
He performed his first solo show at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews. That year he also scooped the title of Dublin’s Funniest Comedian at the prestigious Stand Up For FM104.
Danny went on to beat 16 of Ireland’s best up-and-coming acts and take the coveted Toilet Duck Award at Tedfest 2013 (the now-famous Father Ted celebration).
He Returned to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014 with his second solo show Back To The Hills! and had a hugely successful sold-out run.
Having earned his keep as a teacher in Newcastle, Mike Milligan knows a thing or two about audience interaction, and he majors on it. However, he quickly found classrooms weren’t the best place to share his sharp, witty banter.
Now firmly established as a top stand-up comedian, Mike has compered and headlined shows for The Comedy Club, the Comedy Store and Jongleurs’ clubs and more.
