WIN: Father's Day lunch for four at Stadium of Light

Those wanting to treat their dads this Father's Day can hit the back of the net with a Stadium of Light lunch.

Leading catering company, 1879 Events, which manages catering and events at the Stadium of Light and National Glass Centre (NGC), will be serving up special

menus at both venues on Sunday June 19.

And you could be at the Stadium of Light lunch for free.

We’ve teamed up with the venue to give away a three-course meal for a family of four, worth £19.95 per adult.

Choices include starters such as terrine of spiced chicken or salad of lemon-poached salmon, main courses ranging from slow cooked lamb shank to wild mushroom and brie Wellington and desserts such as the sweet sticky toffee pudding or savoury farmhouse cheese plate.

Servings at both venues will be running from noon until 2pm and all dads will receive a free gift to take away.

David Moses, general manager at 1879 Events Management, said: “Father’s Day only comes once a year, so what better way to say thank you and I love you to that

special man in your life than with a mouth-watering meal prepared by our award-winning chefs. We won’t even make them do the washing up.”
