CALLING all junior football teams – how would you like to win a new kit for your squad?
To celebrate the opening of its new £7.5m hotel in Sunderland and its commitment to the local community, Premier Inn has teamed up with the Sunderland Echo to offer one lucky under-12s junior football team the chance to win a new full sports kit for the entire squad.
Whether you have been wearing a kit that has been handed down for the last few years, lost a sponsor, never had one or even lost your kit, Premier Inn wants to invite all sports clubs, schools, parents and sporting champions to tell them why they should kit out their full team.
The competition to win the football strips, worth £325 and includes 14 tops, shorts and socks for the players and a full kit for the goalkeeper, will be judged by Northeast Press group editor Joy Yates.
Louise Hope, cluster general manger at Premier Inn, said: “It is important for us to show our commitment to the local community as we open our first-ever, brand new Premier Inn hotel in the Tyne and Wear area for over a decade, and this seemed like the perfect way to do it.
The new hotel in Hind Street will feature 125 bedrooms.
It will also include a 156-seater Thyme restaurant, with an additional 20-seater external terraced area and self-service check-in facilities.
