On Wednesday, our very own angel of the North will be laid to rest.
A service to mark Denise Robertson's life will take place at Sunderland Minster at 1pm, ahead of an interment at Grangetown Cemetery.
The 83-year-old, a lifelong Sunderland fan born in East Boldon, died on March 31 following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Her family have requested family flowers only, with donations, if so desired, to be made to The Bubble Foundation.
If you are planning to attend the service, council staff and police officers will be available on the day directing traffic to permitted parking areas.
The nearest car park to Sunderland Minster is Livingstone Road, with Debenhams car park at the back of the church.
Thousands have paid tribute to Denise since her death, including This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield, who tweeted his sadness at her passing.
It was announced in February this year that the TV agony aunt was receiving treatment for the illness.
