Sunderland weather forecast for this weekend and next week

Wearside is set to be mainly fine week, with sunny intervals and a light breeze – here’s the current forecast from the Met Office for the weekend and next week.

Saturday (18 April)

Sunderland will be cloudy throughout the day on Saturday, accompanied by a maximum temperature of 9C and minimum temperature of 5C. There are set to be some sunny intervals later in the evening.

We’ll see more of the sun on Sunday which is set to remain dry with a moderate breeze. Temperatures are set to reach 13C with a mimimum temperature of 6C.

Monday (20 April)

The Met Office UK says the weather is set to remain dry and mostly sunny moving into next week, although often rather windy which will make it feel cooler near the coast.

Tuesday (21 April)

Both Monday and Tuesday are set to reach highs of 13C and lows of 5C while remaining sunny. It’s set to remain breezy in most parts though.

Wednesday (22 April)

Moving towards the end of next week, temperatures are set to remain similar, though it’s predicted it will become cloudier with sunny intervals.

Sunny intervals are expected on Thursday with temperatures set to reach 14C and mimimum temperature of 6C with a gentle breeze.

Friday (24 April)

Similar weather conditions are expected on Friday with sunny intervals and a light breeze.
