The Met Office is predicting a rise in temperatures over the next few days across the UK, with Sunderland set to experience highs of 24°c.

The Met Office website says: “It should stay dry across the region with some good spells of sunshine. Feeling warm inland, but developing onshore breezes will keep coastal areas a little cooler.”

As we head into the weekend, the Met Office is predicting it to be slightly cooler however both Thursday and Friday are looking very warm.

Here is your hour-by-hour forecast for Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7:

Thursday:

11am to 1pm: Sunny, 18°c.

2pm: Sunny, 19°c.

3pm to 4pm: Sunny, 18°c.

5pm to 6pm: Sunny with cloudy spells, 18°c.

7pm: Sunny, 18°c.

8pm to 9pm: Cloudy, 19°c.

10pm to 11pm: Cloudy however looking to be a warm night, 20°c.
