The Met Office says today, Saturday, June 26, and tomorrow, Sunday, June 27, will be overcast and cloudy, with only a brief glimpse of the sun on Sunday afternoon and evening.

On the plus side, the recent rain and high winds which sent huge waves crashing over the promenade at Seaburn on Friday, June 25 are not expected to return.
