Labour enjoyed a hat-trick of victories in Sunderland on General Election night.
Bridget Phillipson, Julie Elliott and Sharon Hodgson all retained their seats as the party's fortunes unexpectedly rose nationwide.
The results for the constituencies were held at Sunderland Community Pool, Tennis and Wellness Centre, in Silksworth, with armed police on patrol following the recent terror attacks in
Manchester and London.
