Washington fire crews tackle blaze at Pattinson Industrial Estate
Two crews tackled 30 tonnes of house-hold waste on fire at Pattinson Industrial Estate.
Crews from Washington were called to the blaze at the industrial estate at Monument Park in Washington, around 9am today.
Fire fighters used a mechanical digger on site to pull out burning pieces of rubbish as they dampened down the fire with two jets.
The fire which is believed to be accidental, was put out by 11.30am.
No one was injured.
