Businesses in Washington were flooded by today’s heavy rainfall.
At 8.44am, firefighters from Washington station were called to The Green florist and tea room, in Washington Village, to pump out around 6ins of water.
The business did not have to close.
Pub The Cross Keys, in Spout Lane, was hit by worse flooding.
The cellar was left under around 2 metres of water and firefighters used pumps to get rid of the flood.
The pub is expected to be re-opened later today or tomorrow.
There was no serious damage.
