Warning to jurors in trial of Raoul Moat’s alleged accomplices

Have your say

A JUDGE has warned jurors a trial was not all about Raoul Moat as he summed up the case against two men accused of being the killer’s accomplices.

Karl Ness, 26, of Dudley, North Tyneside, and Qhuram Awan, 23, of Blyth, Northumberland, deny charges connected with the shootings carried out by Moat last July.

The Honourable Mr Justice McCombe, said the Newcastle Crown Court jury had to decide whether the men were Moat’s “willing henchmen”.
