RESIDENTS are urged to find out more about plans to create a new parish council in Durham and Newton Hall.
More will be revealed at the next Durham Area Action Partnership (AAP) board meeting, on Monday, May 21, at 6pm at Durham Town Hall, Market Place. Colette Longbottom, Durham County Council’s head of legal services, will give a presentation about how the plans are progressing.
People attending will then discuss the proposals in small groups to identify issues and questions.
The vice chairman of Durham AAP, Reverend Robert Lawrance, said: “The AAP welcomes the chance to support discussion on what is an important topic for residents in the city centre and Newton Hall areas.”
Anyone interested in attending the meeting must register in advance. Call Marie Ainscough on 301 8735 or email email@example.com.
