Travel advice for England fans ahead of game in Sunderland

Football supporters travelling to the England game in Sunderland on Friday by coach have been advised to use a park and ride site.

The Three Lions will take on Australia at the Stadium of Light as part of their preparations for the summer's European Championship.

Fans have been advised that there is to be no drop-off or pick-up area for coaches or cars at the stadium, and no access to unauthorised vehicles.

Coaches must use the park and ride site, which is located on the Enterprise Park, just off the A1231 Wessington Way, to drop off and pick up their passengers.

There are a limited number of coach parking spaces remaining at the stadium, but these must be pre-booked, at a cost of £50 per coach.
