It's a snow day across the North East as families head back to school and work after the half-term break. What's the weather like where you are? Tag us in your snow pictures on social.

7.45am: Delays to public transport and gridlock on roads across the North East
We're seeing reports of congestion across the region and a mix of poor driving conditions on various roads. Take care out there this morning, wherever you're going.
Go North East has warned passengers of trouble serving some areas, with delays across the network of buses. There is also slow-moving traffic on Newcastle's Central Motorway and on the A19.
Drivers are experiencing delays at the Tyne Tunnel in both directions.
8.00am: Broken-down lorry on A19 and queues through roadworks on the route
Motorists are facing delays on the A19 at Easington, near to the Little Thorpe junction, due to the weather conditions and a broken-down lorry on the carriageway.
Meanwhile, at Testo's roundabout, there is heavy traffic through the roadworks with an estimated travel time of nine minutes.

The granite building which was built in 1902 was previously the Fawcett Street branch of HSBC. In 2011 the financial giant moved its remaining Fawcett Street operations to its Market Square outlet, which had opened in 2007. Click here to read more.
