9.30pm: The hills are alive ... with traffic around the Empire Theatre
There will be traffic in the area when tonight's performance of The Sound of Music is over.
8.30pm: The usual closures are in place at Testo's roundabout
Full closure southbound. It will reopen at 6am.
7.20pm: Metro delays 'system wide'.
This is due to 'heavy passenger loading and trains being withdrawn from service'.
5.25pm: Lovestruck seven-year-old lad tracks down his holiday girlfriend to give her a Valentine's Day card
Love’s young dream has been saved with the rekindling of a holiday romance.
Jackson Foster, seven, and nine-year-old Alecia Johnson met on holiday in Spain last year – but lost touch when their families forget to exchange contact details.
3.53pm: The 4.03pm Peterlee to Seaham via South Hetton 202 bus service will not be running.
3.40pm: A reminder over roadworks around the Testo's Roundabout redevelopment
There is a planned full closer of the A19 southbound at Boldon from 8pm today and 6am tomorrow.
It is part of the huge project to put a flyover on the A19 over the roundabout, which is expected to go into 2021.

3pm: Sunderland AFC 1973 FA Cup legend Dave Watson has neurodegenerative disease, his family confirms
We've some terribly sad news this afternoon, after the former England captain's wife revealed the 73-year-old is struggling with this health.
The former defender will be inducted into Sunderland's Hall of Fame next month - ahead of which wife Penny has revealed he is dealing with a neurodegenerative disease.
In a statement released to the PA news agency, she said: "Now seems like the right time to inform you that for several years my husband Dave Watson, former England football international player and captain, has been battling a neurodegenerative disease.
