Drivers are facing possible delays heading southbound on the A1 towards Darlington due to an overturned truck.

According to the AA’s traffic planner, an overturned truck on the A68 southbound from the A1 Junction 58 has caused the closure of the exit slip road.

The traffic planner said: “Road closed due to rolled over truck on A68 southbound from A1(M) J58 to Rotary Way. Traffic is coping well.
