Broken-down vehicle leads to delays on A19 southbound

A broken-down vehicle has led to delays for motorists using the A19 on Friday, July 10.

Highways England has reported the issue on the southbound carriageway, with delays hitting drivers between the junction from the A182 at Murton and the turn off to Easington Village on the B1283 and A182 to South Hetton, while the AA has said one lane is closed.

It has said: “The time to clear the event is expected to clear between 9.15am and 09.30am.”
