A top training company has said it is proud to be backing this year’s Best of Wearside Awards.

JB Skills Training Ltd, one of Sunderland’s leading training providers, has given its support to the Student of the Year Award as it looks to honour hard-working individuals on Wearside.

The company, which is based at Sunderland Software Centre, provides apprenticeships and bespoke training packages to individuals of all ages and to companies looking to be the best they can be, by up skilling the existing work force.

Dave Macmillan, managing director of JB Skills Training, said the company is proud to be amongst the best in the training industry who are helping Wearside to be outstanding, which is why it has sponsored this year’s Best of Wearside Awards.

“We are delighted to be involved in Best of Wearside Awards and sponsor The Student of the Year Award,” he said.

“The category is perfect for us, as we strive to encourage people to want to learn and to undertake qualifications to improve their future and their career options.

“Every day we see learners who embark in their learning aspirations and go on to achieve.

“Good luck to everyone involved!”
