TRAFFIC LATEST: Delays on the A690 and A19 after collisions

Motorists faced rush-hour delays after a three-car collision on the A690 this afternoon.

The collision happened at around 5pm on the eastbound carriageway between the Stratstone Garage, at Stoneygate, and the A19 interchange at Doxford Park.

Police and ambulance crews were at the scene. It is not yet known if there are any injuries.

There were further delays on the A19 southbound, just beyond the turn off to Nissan, after another three-car collision.

Traffic was backed up to Testo’s roundabout.
