Tommy Ward beats Jazza Dickens to become new British super-bantamweight champion
The 22-year-old dethroned British king Jazza Dickens, in Leeds on a technical stoppage.
Referee Michael Alexander halted the gripping contest in the early seconds of round nine after Ward suffered a nasty cut above his left eye.

All three judges scored it for the Hartlepool boxer - Victor Loughlin and Howard Foster marked it 87-85 with John Keane giving it to Ward 88-84.
An unsatisfactory ending it may have been, but what a night for Ward, coach Neil Fannan and manager Dave Garside.
