SUNDERLAND defender Titus Bramble has been criticised after boasting about getting a free meal from a high street restaurant.
The 30-year-old posted a picture of a receipt from a branch of Nando’s, writing “Nando’s always tastes better free.”
The bill showed the footballer had had an order worth £35, but was asked to pay nothing.
It provoked a furious reaction on Sunderland messageboard Ready To Go.
One poster, called midds wrote: “If I were him I’d be keeping a low profile as opposed to posting how he gets free meals because he’s a footballer.”
However, andy78, said: “He is not boasting, he’ll be posting it on there as part of the deal to get the free food.”
Former Newcastle United player Bramble joined Sunderland in 2010 for £1.5million.
