BIRD watchers can find out more about how to best to look at their feathered friends at a event this month.
Visitors can check out the latest optical equipment and also chat to experts from In Focus, a firm which sells binoculars and telescopes which are suitable for bird watching, at the Wetlands Centre, in Washington.
There will also be opportunities to test, select and buy state-of-the-art binoculars and telescopes under field conditions.
Organisers say that part exchanges will be considered and used stock is available.
A percentage of every sale is donated to the Wetlands Centre to help continue ita wildlife conservation work.
In Focus is a Birdlife International Species Champion.
It is also the main sponsor of Birdfair and Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre-approved optics partner.
The organisation has also donated more than £1million towards conservation projects.
This month’s meet takes place on Sunday, March 25.
The event is suitable for those with pushchairs.
