'˜Tick Tock' Kev Turner increased his chances of a top-eight finish in the Plains Farm Darts League with wins over Toby Thomas and Neil Hardy.

Firstly, in a nail-biting finish, Turner won a last -eg decider against Thomas, taking out legs in 19, 20 & 21 darts, with Thomas best reply in 20 darts.

Turner’s next win was a more comfortable 7-3 win over Hardy, with 18 & 20 dart legs, a superb 104 checkout and a 180.

Vince Loraine also earned two excellent wins over both Stevie Gettins and Liam Turnbull.

Firstly, in a 7-4 win over Gettins, Loraine threw winning legs in 20 & 21 darts.

Loraine then defeated Turnbull 7-3 with winning legs in 17 & 21 (x2) legs, with Turnbull responding with an 18-dart leg.

Turnbull would end the night with a victory by demolishing Anth Charlton 7-0, with a 20-dart leg and a 100 checkout.

Tyne & Wear county player, Tony Cummings, smashed an unlucky Dean Parker 7-0, with winning legs in 18 & 20 darts and a 180.

‘Snake Bite’ Bobby Turnbull remains in second place with a 7-3 win over Toby Thomas, smashing in two 180s on way to victory.

Scott Anderson had to dig deep for a 7-4 win over Jake O’Brien, with winning legs in 19 & 20 darts, with O’Brien hitting a 180. O’Brien would later defeat Neil Hardy 7-3.

Scott Turnbull defeated Andy Lincoln 7-3, with 2x20 dart legs and a superb shanghai 120 checkout.

Lincoln’s best winning legs came in 18 & 21 darts.
