Three-car crash on A19

Motorists are facing delays following a crash on the busy A19 road.

It happened on the southbound side of the road at Easington earlier tonight.

Durham Police's Roads and Policing Unit tweeted: "Three vehicle accident A19 Southbound, Easington, lane 2 closed."

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured in the incident.
