Warren made her first crown court appearance after being charged with his murder last week.

Adey has already appeared at the court but neither have yet entered pleas.

His provisional trial date, which was fixed at a previous hearing, has now been changed from June 19 to October 3.

The Recorder of Newcastle, Judge Paul Sloan QC, told them that their case will be heard again on April 6.

He remanded them in custody until that date.

Mr Shaw, known as 'Sharky ', was found dead at his home in Pine Street, Grange Villa, in December.
