Teenager left red-faced after being stuck in a swing
A Washington teenager was left red-faced when she had to be rescued from a swing.
Firefighters from Washington Fire Station were called to a park area near Hertburn Gardens in the town, where the girl was stuck.
A spokesman for the station said the 13-year-old had climbed into one of the toddler swings and couldn't get out at around 2.30pm today.
He said the firemen lifted her out of the swing and she was unhurt.
