Teeing off for charity golf event

Have your say

GOLFERS are being urged to tee-off for charity.

Staff at UKAR, which is based at Sunderland’s Doxford Park, are organising a Charity Golf Day, along with their sister branches in Gosforth and Bingley.

The event will take place at the De Vere Oulton Hall Hotel in Leeds on Friday, July 13, and the Sunderland branch will be donating any money they raise to the Tiny Lives Foundation.

The day will start with breakfast, between 9am and 10am, followed by nine holes before lunch and 18 holes after and the prize presentation ceremony will be held after the evening meal.

There are still team slots available for anyone wishing to enter a team of four and the cost is £60 per person.

Anyone who would like to take part, donate a raffle prize or sponsor a hole, should contact Stewart Bailey on 07900 072578 or e-mail stewart.bailey@n-ram.co.uk.
