Take a look inside Sunderland's new Sports Direct store

MMA fighter Colin Fletcher took a break from training to officially launch Sunderland's new Sports Direct store.

Colin from Washington, who fights as The Freakshow, was on hand to open the store which has taken over the former BHS store in High Street West.

As well as Sports Direct, the site houses USC, both of which are owned by Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley's Sports Direct International plc.

The large site, which measures 36,637 sq ft, closed as BHS in August after the firm collapsed and began operating online only.
