Super Sol sparks Sacriston joy in U15s Glenn Robinson Memorial Trophy final

Sol Bell proved to be the star of the show as Sacriston Under-15s secured a 79-run victory over Durham City at Philadelphia in the Glenn Robinson Memorial Trophy Final.

Bell scored a magnificent, unbeaten 105-ball 166, including 27 fours and a six, as Sacriston posted 224-3 from 30 overs, with Callum Dodds the next best with 19.

Adam Crawford took 2-56 for City.

In reply, Durham could only manage 145-7, despite 49 from Jonny Bushnell, with five boundaries, and 44 from Crawford, hit five fours and a six. Ellis Horner picked up 2-25 for Sacriston.
