The funeral of Britain's best loved agony aunt will take place in her beloved Sunderland this afternoon.
The service to mark Denise Robertson's life will take place at Sunderland Minster at 1pm, ahead of an interment at Grangetown Cemetery.
Hundreds are expected to attend the funeral today including many celebrities who have worked with Denise over the years.
Already in the city is This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield who tweeted last night: "Hello Sunderland, what a shame to be here under such sad circumstances, but I'm sure we'll give our Denise a fitting send off."
The 83-year-old Denise was a lifelong Sunderland fan born in East Boldon, died on March 31 following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Her family have requested family flowers only, with donations, if so desired, to be made to The Bubble Foundation.
Council staff and police officers will be available during the day directing traffic to permitted parking areas for those attending the funeral.
