After a fast start from West End, with Mark Robinson hitting the woodwork in the 12th minute, their pressure told before the midway point of the first half as Keiron Martin made the breakthrough with a header.

West End retained their advantage to their interval, and had to survive a strong revival from Wolviston early in the second period.

But Mark Robinson deservedly got his goal to double the lead with a tidy finish in the 75th minute.

Robinson then got his second in the 80th minute to kill off the game at 3-0, before Martin wrapped up the scoring in injury time.

West End finished the TWR Bifolds Wearside League season in third place, scoring 105 goals, and also finished runners-up in the Durham County Trophy.
