The Poland striker has impressed on loan at Anderlecht this season, where he has scored 14 goals already this term.

And reports today claim Sunderland – who are in desperate need for firepower in their battle to beat the drop – have scouted Teodorczyk.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 25-year-old is also on the radar of Everton, West Ham, Stoke and West Brom, while Championship side Aston Villa are also interested.

However, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen could rival the English clubs for Teodorczyk’s signature.

Elsewhere, Croatia defender Domagoj Vida has again been linked with Sunderland.

The Echo revealed last week that the Black Cats had reignited their interest in the 27-year-old, who has been starring for Kiev in the Champions League.

With Sunderland in need of defensive reinforcements in January with potentially Lamine Kone and Papy Djilobodji going to the African Cup of Nations, Vida has been linked with a £6million move.

Whatever signings Moyes makes in January, former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp believes will be too late to save the club from the drop.

Redknapp says Sunderland are still doomed despite their first win of the season on Saturday at Bournemouth.
