The striker had started the game despite the Black Cats having increased their bid for him to £600,000 but didn't last long with the Bradford official Twitter account saying it looked like a knee injury.

The 25-year-old is believed to be able to leave the Bantams this summer, having just one year left on his contract.

Wyke missed Bradford's friendly on Saturday against York City through injury.

Bradford boss Michael Collins said: “Charlie felt a little niggle on Friday and I wasn’t prepared to risk him.

“It’s not anything long term. But we’ve got to be fair with people."

Meanwhile, Reading midfielder George Evans was on the bench for the Royals' game against Besiktas today, but didn't make it onto the pitch.

Sunderland have had an offer accepted for Evans, and hope to complete a deal this week. The player is currently in Austria on a pre-season tour with the Championship club.
